Genesis Group Homes, Inc. offers PTO to full-time positions. DSPs working 40 hours a week will earn two weeks of PTO per year, with additional years of service this amount increases.

We offer our Overnight Direct Support Professionals a schedule of working 7 nights on and 7 nights off. Working Wednesdays - Tuesdays for 26 weeks out of the year.

Employees that work company-designated holidays receive pay at time and a half. All Full-Time employees get a floating holiday.

An optional benefit available to full-time employees, this allows an employee to set-aside hours in an account that can be used for extended absences causing hardship due to medical reasons. We believe assistance should be available to our team members during difficult times.

Full-time employees experiencing hardship and do not have enough PTO to cover their lost time may be eligible to receive PTO donated by co-workers.

To support local volunteer programs in our area, we allow employees with 5 years or more of service to apply for a paid 5-day leave of absence to participate in charitable events and activities. I came from a toxic workplace/ work environment prior to joining Genesis Group Homes, Inc. so I am surprised decent human beings who work hard when no one watches, who aren't weird, fake, and psychotic mean for no good reason still exist. It's a night and day shift. I've been in a mean girl cliquey environment with envious coworkers filled with nothing but hatred and extreme ego before. Genesis Group Homes, Inc. is different from office staff to actual group home staff.

It's been nothing but a great experience so far. They're very organized and they have strict rules clearly spelled out and clearly defined which I love. There are no wishy-washy guessing games played here. I hope I never have to leave this company EVER.
